Whitsundays Mainland Day Trips
There are some fun, family-friendly tours on offer on the Whitsunday mainland of Airlie Beach including segway rides, guided bushwalking tours through the breathtaking Whitsunday National Parks rainforest and seeing crocodiles in the wild!
The half-day segway rainforest tour is a 9km guided ride in the Conway National Park, with beautiful tropical rainforest, crystal-clear creeks and stunning views. The experienced local guide will show you the local flora and fauna, as well as other points of interest.
The three-hour ‘sunset and boardwalk’ segway tour will take you on a 7km guided tour of the water’s edge, along the Whitsunday Bicentennial Boardwalk, with your guide providing informative commentary as you glide past Abell Point Marina, Shingley Beach, and the Whitsunday Botanic Gardens.
Or ‘go wild’ on a crocodile safari offering an Aussie nature experience in the Whitsundays. You will see “salties”- estuarine crocodiles - in their natural habitat amongst the mangroves that line the Proserpine River. From the comfort of the safe and stable vessel you will see about 150 crocs sunbathing, swimming and hunting in the murky waters.
